Small Slat Snowy Owl
Slat Owl -based on an historical antique meant to discourage pests - is a hand carved Owl face attached to a slat and framework body. Each slat is hand cut and and hand fit, and then sanded smooth.
Carved from sustainably harvested and locally sourced Atlantic White Cedar, with two sets of hand-blown crystal eyes and a custom paint finish.
Designed to be displayed hanging, so that the movement of the body gives the illusion that the two-sided head is actually turning.
18" High, 8" wide, 6" deep - can be displayed outside
