Hand carved and hand painted Sandpipers on driftwood. Carved from sustainably harvested and locally sourced Atlantic White Cedar, with inset oak bills, and perched on driftwood found locally here in VA and NC.
Sandpipers are based on an antique shorebird pattern from the late 19th century.
